We prioritise sourcing Manx produce for our kitchens, working with local farmers and suppliers to reduce food miles and strengthen the island's economy. This approach ensures our guests enjoy authentic, fresh flavours while supporting sustainable agriculture.
Good for the community
Good for the community
As the leading resort on the Isle of Man, Comis Hotel & Golf Resort recognises its responsibility to support the local community and contribute positively to the island’s social and economic fabric.
We strive to create partnerships and initiatives that benefit our community, guests and future generations.
This is how we do it:
Our collaboration with Kewaigue primary school has been a highlight. Pupils participated in wildflower sowing and bug hotel construction at the resort and were so inspired they requested to create a herb garden with their school grounds. Our ambition for academic years 2025 - 2026 is to support students of University College, Isle of Man who provide hospitality courses to their students.
Our 3 - year ambition setup in December 2024 affirms our desire to closely engage with local businesses, educational bodies, charities and Isle of Man Government officials in order to promote, celebrate and support Isle of Man based organisations.
As part of our commitment to the Isle of Man’s heritage we seek ways to celebrate the island's unique culture within our operations, guest experience and information.
